Reflection
When I listened to the Journey On the relaxation exercise, it relaxed me. My daughter has been sick for a few days but I think she had finally fought it off. I have not actually been able to relax until now. So I put her to bed and then listen to the relaxation exercise, it really relaxed me and brought me to a place to relax my mind. When I was listen to this guided meditation I could relax enough to feel my muscle tension decreasing and I could feel my flow of blood going to the places where I wanted to relax. I actually fell asleep for a little while, imaging I was sitting at the beach with warm wind blowing in my hair. I really liked this exercise.

ReplyDeleteIt sounds as if you had great experience with this! I think you have to be in the right state of mind when you start. I have done this type of thing before and it has worked but this time I kept having to pull myself back from thinking of all the things I have to accomplish before Christmas. I will try again in the evening after the day is over. I will try to imagine I am at the beach this time.
I fell asleep too, but my husband woke me so that I could continue on with my school work. I found it very interesting. It is sometimes difficult to shut off the rest of the world, but I was able to tune out most of it. I look forward to talking more.
